Don D. and Catherine S. Fowler will talk about their archaeological and ethngraphic salvage work in Glen Canyon prior to the completion of the dam in 1963 and how this experience affected their career choices.

There will also be an announcement of the winner of the Don D. and Catherine S. Fowler book publication prize.  This prize is awarded to an anthropology book on the American west published by the U. of Utah Press.
